∆ Causes of disease : रोगी को पहले Kidney yin deficiency होती है । पानी की कमी से पौधा भी कम पोषण पाता है । अतः कुछ समय बाद liver yin deficiency भी हो जाती है । Liver yin की deficiency होने पर कुछ समय बाद Liver yang excess हो जाती है तथा ऊपर सर में चढ़ जाती है इससे उपरोक्त लक्षण प्रकट होते हैं । ये सभी लक्षण empty heat के लक्षण कहलाते हैं इसमें रोगी के सर में एक तरफ दर्द होने लगता है । 

∆ liver yang rising से होने वाला सर दर्द सामान्यतः सर के दायें भाग में होता है  तथा Blood deficiency के कारण होने वाला सरदर्द सर के बायें भाग में होता है ।

 ∆Causes of disease : The patient first has kidney yin deficiency.  As The plant also gets less nutrition due to lack of water.  Therefore, after some time liver yin deficiency also occurs.  Due to deficiency of liver yin, after some time the liver yang becomes excess and rises in the head, due to which the above symptoms appear.

∆ All these symptoms are called symptoms of empty heat, in which the patient starts feeling pain on one side of the head.  

∆ Headache caused by rising liver yang usually occurs in the right side of the head.  

∆ The headache due to blood deficiency occurs in the left side of the head.
